• Making sure clients attend appointments with you and other professionals as required.
• Helping clients and families understand process and procedures as well as professional roles through continued explanation and education.
• Assisting clients and families in understanding changes requiring legal or financial action.
• Taking round the clock calls from the client.
• Being the first contact for the client at the time of perceived emergency so that appropriate action can be taken.
• Coordinating communication amongst clients, families, and professionals.
• Overseeing follow through of tasks needed for completion of legal or financial issues.
• Initiating reminders or completing tasks related to bill pay, correspondence, or record keeping.
• Diffusing difficult situations.
